Today we took part in the community event and visited the orphanage. We had the global education class there with the support of kids at global weekend school at YBS, volunteers from 7th fleet, and local Japanese group in Yokosuka.

I believe Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world, We did a little project to pursue this!

Thank you for coming and help, you are all ambassadors! You made differences!!! I am so happy that I could spend a day filled with the happiness and smiles that all the kids brought there.

Thank you for the chance to make a difference. Only by giving we are able to receive more than we already have:)

I had a BLAST!!

英語で遊ぼうプロジェクト！今回はYBSの週末スクールに通ってくれているアメリカ人の小学生も参加。

おとなではなく、同年代の子供たちと関わるからこそ感じられる『世界はフラットだ』という不変のこと。大人との関わりでは得られないフィルターのないボーダレスな世界を、しっかりと教育の力を知るおとなが見守りながら導くことがYBS's way。

違っていて当たり前。

言葉が違うということ、文化が違うということ、人種が違うという事実に触れて、実際に体験して初めて『英語』が世界への扉になる。そんな本質としっかりと向き合う。

国境だけではなく、言葉も絆もボーダレス。そんな優しい日本人を取り戻し、多様性を育む文化を創ろう。

横須賀法人会青年部の社会貢献事業の一環でYBSが関わらさせていただきました。夏から今まで素敵な機会をありがとうございました。

英語と教育の持つ可能性に改めて1から向き合った日々で得た経験をしっかりと活かして、未来へとつなげていきたいと思っています！！
